Provenance
This artwork can be compared with two paintings representing
the Jean-de-Paris road at Apremont, in the Forest of Fontainebleau;
numbers 1450 (p.226) and 1471 (p.230) in the catalogue raisonné by
Pierre and Rolande Miquel.
The authenticity of this work has been confirmed by the artist’s experts,
Rolande Miquel and Michael Tazi Klaa. The work will be included in the
supplement to the artist’s catalogue raisonné, which is currently in preparation.
