Demisch Danant is pleased to announce our participation at The Salon Art + Design 2018 in Booth A6.  Our presentation will focus on seminal historical works from the late 1940s to the early 60s—tracing the sources of French modernity.

Highlights include Bridge Chairs (c.1948) and Game Table (c.1951) designed by Jacques Dumond, one of the pioneers of French modernity; a selection of influential commissioned lights from the 1950s by Pierre Guariche for Disderot; and the rare modular The Elements 80 Bookcase (1960) by Joseph-André Motte, which represents Motte’s earliest inventive use of glass and wood.
