Demisch Danant is pleased to announce a presentation at Design Miami/Basel 2018 in Booth G11, where an exhibition will focus on artist designed furniture and objects from the 1970s including works by César, François Arnal, Guy de Rougement, and Sheila Hicks. Additionally, the exhibition will include works by Maria Pergay, Pierre Paulin, and Verre Lumiere, reflected the distinctive technical innovation and uniquely elegance of French design.
Between the late 1960s and mid-1970s, France witnessed the emergence of a new era of artistic energy, marked by leaps of creative daring, which included forms of expression and mediums that challenged previously accepted boundaries.
